Using information systems costestimation models in software engineering methodologies

The article presents some results of economic research in the field of information systems development. The most actual and demanded software development methodologies in the market of IT-services are briefly described and the analysis of techniques estimation on the basis of these methodologies is carried out. Labor and software costs estimation tasks are considered using Func¬tional Point model and COCOMO II (Constructive Cost Model).
