Using and protecting of personal data in Internet social networks

The paper deals with Internet users’ communication. The main issues concerning social networks members and emerging communication threats are identified. Statistics on the growing number of Internet and social networks users is given. Steps to create software that allows users of social networks to prevent hackers’ access to their personal information are proposed. The advantages and disadvantages of implemented and proposed tools for preventing personal data leakage are noted. The conclusions about the study results implementation are made.
