Improved touch-sensitive text input method for people with visual disabilities

This research examines the problem of input text on mobile devices with touch screen by people with visual disabilities. Existing methods analyzed and a new solution is suggested. The mathematical model of the input method is examined. The results of a comparative testing of the proposed method and the best of the existing input methods are presented.

Models and methods of human-computer interaction

The article examines the issue of developing models of the text input methods. The urgency of this matter is dictated by the reduction of financial costs of designing new input methods and upgrading existing ones.
