Commentary 

The article is a summary of the conference «Information systems for innovative higher education institutions — 2009». The conference was arranged by I. T. Company jointly with Microsoft Corporation and The Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. The most significant reports and the exhibited innovative solutions for colleges are highlighted.

This article is about step by step designing the individual trajectory of schoolboy research work. The setting task is the aid and make easy with the computer modeling. The young mathematician K. Bauman find the precise significance of the coefficient of stretch of classical Peano's curve (C = 6).

The process of the society's information couldn't leave school and teachers' groups aside. The material and technical basis such as: information — technology classes, digital educa¬tional resources and of course the knowledge of pedagogical and information technologies, having got by the teachers at the refresher courses, is capable to cope with this problem. The report is devoted to the problems of studying Information Technology at secondary schools. The base of the reports a long standing experience of the author's work at school as a teacher of Information Technology. It is sup¬posed to use chess as the base for studying Information Technology at the secondary school. The stress is made on the creative tasks as the way active thinking (mentality) of the pupils.

Mathematical methods and tools used for development of digital spatial models of municipal territories covering the activities of services which provide functioning of municipal systems are proposed. Such models include: graphic vector and raster images of objects of various purpose with detailed elaboration sufficient for their visual identification; elements of the equipment of municipal systems; attributive data bases for storage of symbolical and digital information on objects of the model providing realization of the mechanism of transactions with use of topological connections.

Investigation of traffic accidents is a difficult task, because it is necessary to reconstruct the accident in terms of quality (creating a schematic model) and in terms of quantitative parameters of the accident. Three-dimensional modeling allows to accomplish this task more conveniently and quickly.
